Clean Burning Palm Wax Candles

 

What’s the buzz about candles made from palm wax?  They burn extremely clean!  Asthma sufferers and people with allergies will no longer need to worry about the fumes – there will be no black residue released into your home.

The palm wax candles we carry are biodegradable and the environment will thank you for using them.  The palm wax is harvested on a sustainable palm tree farm, and the candles are poured by hand, each in their own mold, so there are no two candles exactly the same.

The wicks are made from pure cotton and the color meets the stringent European standard for children’s toys.

Place the candles in an area with no draft and they will burn down for a long time.  Make sure you extinguish the candles when you see the metal part at the bottom of the wick.

Beautiful, clean and safe!  (as always, use care with an open flame)

Meet Kim from WGK Glass Studios

Kim from WGK Glass Studios tell us how they make their glass animals.  First, they take a lone color glass rod – black for the butterfly shown here and then attach different color glass rods, for each part of the animal.  Each rod is shaped over a flame and then pushed and pulled into the desired shape.
